FREELANDER CAMPER VAN

Has anyone constructed/seen or heard about anyone producing a Camper Van body for a Freelander. I know it sounds crazy but I have often wondered if it"s ever been done. Romahome have made them using the awful CITREON C15 vans and Bedford made one using their tiny Rascal van. The Freelander would make a cracking go anywhere Camper van

I've seen someone convert a Freelander 3 door to a camper within the standard body, but can't imagine that a larger camper body could be put on the Freelander chassis, as it's a unibody design, without a separate chassis, so strength would be compromised.

I must admit I have thought about adding a couple of feet to the overall Freelander body length and then add a pop up roof. I might work.
