Hi All, New to the site so apologies if post is in wrong section. havent found any posts relating to this so any help is much appreciated. Not a problem as such but my horn has started to "beep" when I lock the car/activate the alarm using the remote. Do land Rover alarms programmed to do this? and Is there an easy way to de-activate this.

Cheers

Ryan.

the horn beeping means that something is not shut, door, bonnet , back window etc, so it is probably a switch issue, most likely on the rear door /window assy, but could be any of them.

OK Thanks alot, will check the rear window as I tried to open the boot yesterday and with all the ice and snow up here it moved slightly but wouldnt let me open the boot. will check.

Many Thanks

Ryan.

if you tried to open the boot in the snow and found that the window was frozen closed it will cause the beep, you need to unstick the rear door, open it and close it again and you wont get a beep, the beep means something is not closed properly.
