freelander 2 suspension

After over 8 years of Freelander TD4 facelift I needed an auto so opted for SD4 190, power and spec is very good but handling is terrible. If Anyone here has had any experience in upgrading the suspension other than tyres and bushes I would welcome your comments.

Terrible in what way? The suspension is harder than the FL1 and some have the active damping shocks which I personally don't like.

terrible as in soft and twitchy at speed. A lot of the reviews I have seen also complained about this. My old TD4 handled much better although I had tweeted that with spring assisters and I don't think it's the suspension at fault but if someone has a shock and Spring upgrade then I would be interested.

Greg, did you ever find a solution to this? looking to upgrade too.

It should be smooth and comfortable at speed. Are the tyres correctly inflated and wot size wheels?

The only time my FL2 was soft and twitchy at speed was when it had a knackered shock absorber. Is it possible one is on the way out, or the previous owner only replaced one instead of a pair?
