It was a dumb suggestion
I meant to ask is the battery in fob ok ?
Until you can get a proper diagnostic check, it may be worth checking connections to the BCM. Worthwhile having key out if you plan to unplug anything.

Hi. I amsuming it is as i got 2 and both cahsing the same reaction i disconnected the battery earlier checked all the fuses etc etc to still no joy im just glad i was at home

OO, Relay, possibly clutching at straws but you could try the starter relay in the EJB sticking.
Swap them around or try dropping them top down onto a hard surface from about three foot. Not very scientific but may unstick contacts.

I havent checked any relays yet so will try that next wile im just trying to get some diagnostics on it to see if will read anything.

Definitely needs a diagnostic read then, as something should turn on. Does the radio come on? I'm guessing the doors lock and the interior lights come on?

Yeh im guessing so as tge radio comes on interior light and door lights and the way the relays click when i press start i no there's power there il try my mechanic tommorow to see if he can plug it in.

Had a diagnosis done today heres what i got cheers

I am no expert but would say most of them are linked, apart from the turbo one, that is something for another day.
On the reader did you get a fault reason, such as circuit open or to ground ? Or was it no comms ?
The first two could be a disconnect or trapped/cut wire whereas no comms could be a faulty module or of course no comms as it is not connected.
Maybe worth having a look at the cluster in the instrument panel as that is connected to the security system.
I would suggest having a look on Topix the JLR website, you can do for free. I think you register then enter your reg'
Have a look if there are any common connections, feeds or grounds between the modules listed. But my best guess would be one fault is causing the others.
Sorry can't be more help. Good luck.

It's definitely worth checking the electrical connections on the back of the Ipack, as there has been a few issues where a plug has disconnected itself.
Also check the connections on the back of the fob dock and steering column.

Yea thats a good call. I think the cluster has two connections held in place with a locking arm that folds over onto a tab check it secure and again with the dock.
looking again at your faults I would deffo start at or around the dock and the steering column, think there is a module about half way down column.
The messages to the ECU are probably due to the column lock. If you can't steer then engine won't start.
Take your time when dismantling the area around the steering column. Lots of fixings and clips, some also have an airbag above the pedals.
Try having a look through the gaps with a good torch.

Hi thanks for the reply. I would agree with you it does sound like one is triggering the rest i started to take the dash out to check all connections. I will check out that website see if i can get on it thanks

Thank you all so far i am in process of stripping around the dials to check all those connections tommorow. Thanks

I am pretty sure on Topix there is a Workshop manual section which explains how to strip down various parts as well as wiring diagrams.
Start with steering column connections.

did find this that mentions two of your fault codes, that I think are the main issue.
https://www.freel2.com/forum/post315540.html
Although didnt seem like the issue in the post it mentions a module in the passenger footwell, by the bonnet release.
If any of the posh fl2 owners know more then may be worth a look at.
I'd look at checking earths, continuity of data cables and data cables to earth.
