Freelander 2 key fob / key ring

Morning all,
This is probably a daft question… but I’ve noticed that both the (aftermarket) fobs for my daughters FL2 have key ring loops(what are they called?) that are probable too big and kind of interfere with the motorised docking process. It also makes it difficult/impossible to use any sort of key ring.

i’m guessing that genuine key fobs come with a nice tiny ring attached to the corner-my L322 certainly does.

Any thoughts or suggestions - she definitely needs to attach a house key, I personally hate anything other than a single key

The key rings on my original fobs are about 23mm in diameter.


It doesn't seem to upset the docking unit, but the keys do rattle at some engine speeds.

Ok that is much larger than the one on ones on mine which *appear* to interfere with the docking - thanks for sharing Nodge I will investigate further
