Freelander 2 - Engine Cut out

Just yesterday, I was on my way to a Rugger Game, just out my driveway, chugging along nicely when suddenly the Engine just cut out. Engine turns over nicely, not firing up. Could this be a Cam belt snap, or what the hell?
Cam belt has been relaced @ 85,000 km currentlly @ 141,000 k m.

Any idea what can be the problem?
Have checked all engine fuses - no concern!

and that is getting off lightly...

i also would have thought a cam belt snap would be pretty fekking obvious by the whole snapped cam belt thing
