Freelander 2 2013 NS wing mirror

Hi Anyone tell me how the near side wing mirror cover comes off, hit part of a tree sticking out into road , smashed cover and glass but all motors seem to work ok, loath to pay nearly £200 for a complete assembly if I can just renew cover and glass

any thoughts ideas appreciated

usually the glass either lifts a bit but have the top sticking out .
