Hi Freelanders-I am a member of the Rangie forum but am looking for some info on sources for recon. engines or feasability of rebuilding the existing engine from a cost point of view. An ex workmate has a 2ltr diesel Freelander, I don't think it's the TD4 and has a knocking noise coming from the engine. I haven't seen or heard the engine running but he seems to think it's possibly big ends.
I have rebuilt several V8's over the years and the rebuild does not frighten me.
Any info. or advice would be most welcome.:behindsofa:
