Hi all
My sub in the boot has packed up, both voice coils are open circuit. Does any one know what oh if value they are?, or can anyone take a measurement for me ?
I have been unable to find any info on line

There was a thread a while ago regarding replacment units. If you search you will discover that the replacment units are surprisingly cheap.
 
This one is off a seller on good old Amazon.

They're was an Amazon seller who was out of stock for a long while, so maybe he's got some more.
The UK audio supplier in that old thread used to list them for under £10, with £5 shipping, but £20 on Amazon isn't too bad.

Price was £23 with shipping.
Arrived today, not has heavy has original, connected up and running in. It is making a good bass note, but for £23 cannot complain at all
 
So here is a picture of the double din Pioneer unit in and working. I am using the Harmon Kardon Amplifier and all speakers including sub are working. Sound quality is much better than original Ford head unit.
Also I have full DAB radio using original aerial and a splitter for fm/dab. Bluetooth phone connection to.
It’s like owning a Morden car now.
