For Sale - Rear Recovery Point

Not sure if this is the right place to put this because I couldn't see a classified section but here it is anyway - Defender Rear Recovery Point:

£20 for that piece of ****.. I wouldn't rely on that pathetic piece of **** to keep a dog tied up..

Now this is a decent recovery point. Extreme 4x4 Ltd REAR RECOVERY EYE

It's exactly the same apart from it's not zinc plated...

But I have some pretty gold spray paint from the Christmas decorations if you want it to look "bling'ing".....

Is it ****!! what thickness is the backing plate and what diameter and grade of steel is the hoop made of?

Looks pretty similar in size to me, so I guess by that comment the Extreme 4x4 one is just a bling clothes line hoop?

I'll check the diameter of the hoop and thickness of back plate but I can assure you it'll be the same size as the Extreme one, just not coated in pretty colours.

You guys really are suckers for some pretty bling...just because it's coated gold it's all of a sudden 'better' when you don't have the first clue about it at all! It's just an asumption you made, and you know what they say about asumption been the Brother of all **** ups!

You want ya eye's testing your's int anywhere hear as thick as the extreme one.

And even if it were I wouldn't let anyone I was recovering or who was recovering me attach a rope to one of them eyes anyway. Towhitch or a bridle off a pair of rear Jate rings is the only safe way to recover a stuck vehicle those fooking things will strip the nuts clean out on the first decent recovery.

I've forgotten more about recovery than you've learnt. and how the fook can you sell something you know fook all about?? whats the max stress loadings what is it's swl?? What testing had the product had? I'll stop now because you haven't got a clue have you. Your selling a product that someones life may well depend on and you don't even know if it's capable of doing the job.

Are you joking? Best way we can settle this one is, I'll measure the thickness tonight and then you can tell me what the Extreme one is, then we will know for sure.

Guess a Nato hook is ****e too is it? As for using a towhitch - if by this you mean a tow ball...please please please don't be anywhere near me when you're recovering using a towball lol. The back plate looks the same thickness to me. There is some reflection in the crossmember of the extreme one if you look carefully enough, makes it look twice the thickness
