Disco 1 Fobs not responding.

ok the key fobs are not locking or unlocking the vehicle also when I lock it with the key the indicators are flashing indicating the alarm is set annnnnnd it's immobilised ,now I know I need the code to start it but any ideas about what's wrong with the alarm.

Replace the fobs battery and synchronize by pressing the lock button 4 times is the first thing I'd do.
I haven't a clue what's wrong with the alarm, is it not working?.

Done the battery and tried to sync but no joy,think I'll book it in somewhere £££££££.

Turns out it's the fob receiver bit of kit,so back up and running now,thanks for the advice people.
