Flashing m and s lights

Guys
Stopped at the shop popped in to get some bits,, came out started her up and the dreaded M and S lights were flashing tried to move off but it was apparent that I had loss of power. So I put her back into P and turned her off, done a code read(attached) and the cleared the codes, strangely the car thought I was in drive rather than park.
She been OK since but feel I how lost some power
Any ideas

I'd make sure your battery is fully charged and in good condition, this used to happen to me from time to time till I changed the battery.

I'm going to my mates garage probably Tuesday so will get him to check it, with his fancy meter thingy

Definitely check your battery and battery connections.

You should read the fault codes stored in the transmission ECU the engine ECU codes are not so relevant for that symptom

Yes that 11V is low also that CAN timeout fault code means there was a communication interruption between the engine ECU and EAT ECU but this can be caused also by low voltage... if you dont get around 14V with engine running your alternator is gone

From the screen shot the engine does not appear to be running.
Not sure what battery should read when engine is off but is 11 volts low.
Could the CAN time out fault be caused by oil contamination of the engine ecu via red plug.

OK guys thanks for the replys
The engine wasn't running should it have been?
I did see the battery voltage drop from 12 to 11 whilst the nanocom was plugged in
But will get it checked

Why does it say I'm in "low" transfer when it should say "high"

That switch's input is reported the other way around... it's a well known glitch...as long as it changes the reading if you change the gearing it's OK
