I have a disco td5 and fitted new pads and discs to the front.does both the chamfered pads face down at the front and back,as my pedal juddering under light braking
Fitting APEC pads one side chamfered.

chamfers at top on front fitted caliper ,bottom on rear fitted caliper ,so both bottom on your disco
