i will be doing a 300tdi disco engine change in the street tomorrow

last week did axle swap, gear box out to fix clutch on the 90

been workin in the street for years

I've done a v8 disco clutch on the roadside so it's a yes from me.

Fitted my new engine on my drive which is near the street. Still get wet when it rains.

you did get yer foot run over once though, lol

With enough space at the front and clearance to move the gearbox into position i can't see why not.

Depends on your street tbh, a quiet side road would be fine, but i do know of a chap who swapped his gearbox on his 110 on the main street and it was a little hairy with traffic and local yoofs running off with his tools every 5 minutes, as well as it being on a hill, made for some interesting mechanics :lol:

Me & Topcat did a clutch/gearbox swap on a MuddyGonzo's RRC and then took it out again and refitted it and took it out and refitted it all again as it made a right racket/vibration Turned out to be a fooked clutch fork :doh: started saturday morning & took a break to watch the sun come up the following morning.
