That's not a lot of wind !!!!

Here when we get the Mistrale blowing it can be anywhere between 100 and 150kph (nearly 100mph)!!!

Now that's wind :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

blew my trasit luton on to the hard shoulder comin down the m1 today...
think i was only on two wheels...

wagons were stoppin and opening there curtain sides if they was empty....

...Hmmmm....You have the hard eveidence and facts m'lod............

Land rover don't supply them like that as it wouldn't be deemed fit for purpose, you can't buy them in that condition anywhere i've seen and if you were designing a device that required a rubber seal to slide over it with grease behind it, would you make it with a very rough surface?..........er.....no.

Fabulous explanation/reasoning!

if they can seriously disagree with the point NJH is making there, you need to be asking them WHY???!!!

FISH!

i just had a brainwave!

maybe they didnt turn the wheels to full lock to inpect the ball? if not, they wouldnt have seen the worst of it.

if they didnt turn the wheels then its definitely shoddy workmanship so you should be good to go for your 2 hours! :)

Well that was easy :D

They took a look at it, admitted that it does need doing and they made a mistake last time and are gonna do it for same total price as if I'd had it done at the same time as the wheel bearing. So all in all, very happy! :D

Good result.

OK, they've not actually replaced the swivel ball yet, but they've said they'll do it for the cost of the parts + £40 labour (which is the extra it would have cost if they'd done it last time).

The other swivel ball is fine, so yes - this is concluded!!!!!!!
