First landy, got some questions, please can someone help?

I've recently got myself a 2002 Disco xs, she's a beauty and a pleasure to drive. I think all its ever done in its life is pull a horse box, its clean as a whistle and in great nick. I have a little experience helping a friend restore/resurrect a classic de-mob lightweight and a de-mob 110 but as for having a landy of my very own... well this is a first! Being a newbie I have a few questions, some are technical and others are about rules and regulations, modifications and where I can take her to stretch her legs!
So, my first issue is this, I have a button on my dash for SLS which I think I've also read as referred to as off road suspension and as I understand it when I press it I should see a light come on, hear a tone sound and the back of truck ether raise up or lower down. Other than being able to press the button none of the above happen. Anyone any pointers on where I should start looking and what I'm looking for!

Thanks Bigeeee, thats given me something to go on, if just seems odd that the button on the dah does nothing at all, but we'll see what I find, cheers again. BB

Well Bigeee I think I think I have discovered the issue, it would seem that someone has removed the ballons and put springs in instead. Bum!

Mines been removed too but on the upside it's one less thing to worry about now

Oh dear, the air suspension is very easy to tame and I wouldn't be without it.
I do a lot of towing and being able to raise and lower the rear end makes a big difference especially after having back surgery!
