finding 33" tyres

Hoping for a bit of help on this one guys.

As my disco has a 2" bodylift I want to fit 33" tyres for a bit of extra ground clearance but I'm struggling with choosing the right tyres.

Insa turbo special track are top of the list as a great aggressive off road tyre that I can use on the road.
Two options are 33.12.5/15 on 10x15 modulars or 285/75/16's on 8x16 modulars.

Would prefer the 15's but wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where to get the older style 109 tread pattern with a large side lugs as everywhere seems to be offering the new style with small lugs.

Any help or other tyre suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Paddocks had both last month new style and old

Ta mate, found the 285/16's but not the 15's.
Also seen good reviews of the Fedima Sirocco's.

Do you know I have a set of Maxxis for sale?

They might not be aggressive enough for you if they are for BADMAN offroading mainly!

Had seen them dude, could make for a good buget option as apposed to new, they 16's?

Do like the Fedima's been eyeing up the Sirocco's, only about £30 over the Insa's but stronger side walls

Don't do the cheaper option or you will spend what you save on tow ropes lol
maxxis are no good when they see mud

Used to run Kingpin remoulds on my old truck and was very pleased with them, done over 20k on them and still had half their tread left when I sold them.
Even went to Wales and back of them and never had an issue

Stu is right about those Maxxis, that's why I'm selling tbh!

Hmm wide wheels do look very cool but think I'm gonna stick with looking for a set of mud pluggers!

Well little update on this have a buyer who wants my 31's so need to sort out replacements ASAP.
eBay isn't throwing up anything useful unless I go for 35's which are just too big for the Disco. So I reckon it'll be the 33" Fedima's from Tyresdirect.

Cheers dude. Not bad them though the postage is a bit steep.
How are your 12.5's like in the boggy stuff? Always thought going for a 10.5 is better for that stuff, doesn't look as cool mind ha ha!
Also not sure how they perform compared to the more aggressive extremism tyre patterns

Postage on them is not far off the mark mate, i charged 60 to courier my 4 tyres on 24hr service.

tbh im not sure if my maxxis were an unfair test because they struggled in any clay type sticky stuff, they were alright generally though but it was always me on maxxis vs mates on simex or fedima so of course it was going to be like night and day

im now on 33x13.5x15 pitbulls but havent tried them out in any boggy mud yet so dont know how they will perform.

i, however, am not sure if i care

Dude it looks soo hench!!
My mate runs 35x10.5x15 Simexs for off road and 35x12.5x16 MT's for road which is tempting (in 33's of course) cost would be ok as tyres will last longer its just the hassle of changing them I'm not sure I can be bothered with lol.

Not heard of pitbulls before, where you get them from?

Are they 10.5 or 12.5 on the right?
