Disco 2 Finally got me disco 2!

I've finally getting my disco 2 v8 this sat and wondered where the best point to start is. I basically want the chunky tyre raised look with snorkel and roof rack. Is it best to waxoyl chassis or not bother? It's a 2000 model and looks in good nick underneath. Or shall I just get on with the mods. Also which order do I need to start first, lift, tyres then rest??? Any help greatly appreciated. Ps also please mention good brands, terrafirma??

If mine's anything to go by, I think you will be lucky to have a rust-free chassis!! I had to have a new galvanised one fitted three years ago - just before the rear parted company with the front - and it had only done 210,000 miles.

Mines done a modest 94000 miles so hopefully a few miles left in her yet

If it is in good nick chassis wise probably worth doing, but you need to do it inside chassis with a lance.
