Picked it up tonight, TD5 2001 Disco Series 2. Love it. But the internal light works on the open door setting but not when you try and turn it to the permanently on setting, time to start taking things apart... LOL

I've got the same model and sometimes if its parked a certain way and there is heavy rain, water drips thru the light fitting, might just be corroded contacts in the light fitting, a few minutes with the old sand paper should do the trick.
This will probably be least of your problems in the next few years but all the best (wouldn't swap mine)
