Can anyone help?? Rang the Muppets at the LR parts dept! What a joke they just about new what a Freelander was! I have a slight leak on the final drive(rear transfer) where the driveshafts fit in to it. I looked on the Rave cd and it clearly shows an oil seal and a bit further in a circlip (one of each on either driveshaft). Bloke at lR says only one seal on the prop side of it and that's it. Does any one know the correct name or have a part no. for the seals I want?

yes there is a seal each side of the rear diff (rear drive shaft seals) unsure on part number though.

they are in well tight aswell virtually glued in so a bit of force req to remove them

the circlips are the driveshaft retaining clips

You need Seal Differential Part No. TOC 100000. Just in case, the bearing is Bearing Needle Roller Part No. TZZ 100160. Maybe now they'll believe you eh?
:)
