Ok some of you will know from other post I'm getting my 19 year old Disco 1 ready for MOT...Until today I had only driven it into the garage, I've now driven it around the estate and it drives and pulls well...1st 2nd 3rd gears only so far...(not enough to get to 4th or 5th, its a manual)

1st issue, ABS light on, was told by previous owner it would go out over a sertain speed...must have it 30mph and its stayed on...

2nd issue, heater blowing warm air...but temp gauge not moving...I've read hays and found two twin plug sensors on the thormostat housing...no idea which is which, in fact whats the other for?..and how can I test? I know the cars with the one with one wire you can ground to chassis and the gauge should shoot to red, but 1, don't know which of the two it is and 2, when I know which one it is can I short the pins out or does one have to go to ground?? i.e. wanna test the gauge 1st.

Fuel guage works as just thrown 4 jerry cans in and its now just under 1/4 tank.

ABS now worrying me...and I thought I was close to ready for MOT station!!

Joy...all help and tips greatly appreciated...

P.S. not even checked the fuses yet (Check time, its late)...will do that 1st thing in Morning.

There are only two sensors and both have two terminals...it does have air con so one for engine, one for a/c where is this single one then?? Even the hays manual does not show it...

I've let it warm up...hot air from vents but gauge still not moved....just need to know where the sender is....just can't find a single connector sender!!
