Hi,
Would be very interested on how people have run any wires to the doors...
i.e. what they have done at the Hinge point to help prevent wires chaffing/breaking/snapping.

As always..pictures speak a 1000 words....
My 1st thought is using some hose like for the washer jets...its not for speakers but only two wires...its for central locking as part of the alarm.
Thanks Chaps.

Its a 1987....not 1986 not that'll I expect it will make much, if any differance....

Someone will beat me to pictures, but you need two rubber cable covers from +bay, then you have to cur a hole below the switch for your interior lights, feed cable through bulkhead on the same route as for switches for interior lights, loads of room in door shut.
if no pics posted ill post some tomorrow

picture says it all

Oooh I like it...even shows door plunger with a braket on the door...neat...I was thinking I may put the plunger in the door pushing on the seal so like this idea...
The Central Locking will be fun...seen some pics of how people have done it and looks over engineered...a hole in top or bottom of the lock, then hook the cental locking rod onto the lock/unlock pin....was my thoughts.
Then Hide the unit in a box which will be hiden anyway by the door card the previous owner made....its a two wire system for a taod thatch 1 alarm...

Had a disaster on the read end painting...so still doing that.....and ordered new grill and light grills as altho in good condition....had over spray and it reacted....even used "plastic primer" hay hoo....

So back to the wires...is the rubber effot in the Picture a gen LR part or summat from another car/vehicle?

Genuine on mine, square hole needed in A post, can't remember the door end, think it's just a cut out in the door card.
