HI again every one just have a question about the none working fbh on my 2000 td4 where do you start with finding the problem? and after a quick check in the engine bay fuse box i noticed fuse 3 and a relay both down as engine managment are missing could this be anthing to do with it or are they both supposed to be missing. thanks

i would like to know what the empty fuse slot is for before i plug one in and no davec its never worked while ive had it but this is the first cold spell i bought it in june thanks

the heater was an extra on older models . The first thing you hear when the heater is going to kick in is ticking noise from the back left side under the wheel arch. this is the pump for the deisel. mine pumped on a couple of occasions before the heater started working. Do a Google for wabasto they make the heaters.

Search FBH and you'll find all the info also download 'RAVE' at greenoval.D..

The fbh is there and would rather have it working as it should because belive it or not every thing else on the car works properly and it dont leak.Ill put the missing fuse back in and after that the fuel pump sounds a good place to start cheers

Hey, maybe mine does have one fitted & it just doesn't work. Oh well, tell ye what, ah'll let you do the worryin for me.

That's correct no fuse in position 3.
Pull the fuse from position 5 for a few seconds, that resets the FBH in case it's had a flame out, after 3 lighting attempts it locks out and pulling the fuse resets it.

thanks for all the info turned out to be the temp sensor just wired it to a switch as posted by willo all works fine now and cheaper than a new sensor
