Just noticed the fuel guage on the Freelander has stopped working.

Not a sausage of life in it.

Any ideas where to start tracing the fault? I guess there is a sender in the tank but how to access and start diagnising the problem?

Cheers

you have to put fuel in for it to register :)

there is an access panel under the o/s rear seat, held in by 6 screws take a look at the connector to the sender,

DONT lift the pump out while there's power to it Blippie
They recon they dunt last seconds when you try to run em dry.
after checkin the plug like LR Guy says there quite easy to get out the tank then you can easy see which wires are for the pot so you can test em out with a meter. unless yer find summat daft like the floaty bit bobbin about:rolleyes: ;)
