Freelander 2 (LR2) fault codes p0047 and p0409

60k on clock every so often these errors popup go into limp mode but last night it would not clear is it possible that damp may be playing some part in this it has happened about 5 times and always allowed me to clear the errors or could it be a buildup of the soot in the egr and would that cause the p0047 error???

Those codes are normally boost control circuit related. Check the wiring to the turbo vane actuator is the place to start.
You could also check for split boost hoses at the same time.
