Fan Switch

My fan switch has had it, it just bends when i try and move it and it doesent want to work the fan motor properly. The door in the matric housing is fine and the cable is ajusted properly. I was thinking eather; Put a switch on the dash so i can turn the fan on/off with out the dam thing, or putting a new lever assembily in. I cant find anywhere that sells it, or whats included, so i duno if it will fix it anyway.

Any ideas on the best way to make them work?

Take it apart, straighten the lever, and grease the detent on the lever assembly.
Mine was the same but now works like clockwork.
Total time ten minutes from start to finish including a cup of tea halfway through.

Thans, had it appart and its the cable causing the problems, ive just disconected it and greased up the mechanism. I dont know why id want to close up the hatch on the heater system anyway.
