Fan belt replacment

Is it a fan belt or Aux belt?....I guess the latter....

Any way. Hello folks.

My TD5 needs a new one. Now ACE was de-activated in a bodged way by the previous owner. I have just removed the old ARBs and fitted the new Non ACE ones.

I'm sure I read there is a smaller belt I can fit to by pass the ACE pulley rather than replacing it? Is this true?

Thanks for any help/advice offered.

Normally a new idler is installed in place of the ACE pump.

There are four options, same as the V8:

With Aircon With ACE PQS 101510
Without Aircon With ACE PQS 101520
Without Aircon Without ACE PQS 101490
With Aircon Without ACE 101500

I didn't look to see what other changes are made, Microcat does detail some of the extras required.
