My father is urgently looking for a Fairey Capstan Winch driving dog and drive shaft compatible with a classic Range Rover model. It is a V8 5 speed manual gearbox Range Rover. The winch is directly mounted on the crankshaft of the vehicle. It has done a good job since many years, but now these two parts show a high degree of abrasion and need to be replaced.
I tried PG Winches, but the company seems to be gone out of business. Does any of you got any tipps and hints where I could get these parts in the UK or somewhere else?
