Hi all,
Does anyone know the name for the plastic bit that surrounds the spotlights? Are they expensive to buy or hard to come by?

Best pic I could find:

My disco must have had one fitted at some point, because the plastic bits that sit either side of the number plate, are flat on top as if something was originally bolted there, instead of rounded like normal ones.

Cheers.

Oh right, there's one on ebay for 80 quid. Blimey. Surely they're just for show? There's a metal A bar on my disco, which I think looks ugly, but might be handy for opening gates on greenlanes ;) lol

i got one for 30 quid off ebay for mine..

bit poinless looking back.. replaced the steel bull bar as it went under valance and killed approach angle..

there are bolts that ya put through bumper and ya put nuts on inside to tighten it in place..

the bolts aint held very well.. mine spun and i cant get it properly tight so it wiggles a little... and its a bugger gettin the bonnet open cos its in the way...

Doubt it, from being out in aus only a few weeks back, roo bars are generaly full wrap around the entire front end jobbys made of fuppin thick steel so if you hit a roo at full speed the thing will go pinging off in the other direction and not damage you atall.. cant see rubber doing the same.

Learn something every day, eh? I thought the wrap around effort was a "bull bar"?

My other halfs parents D2 has what we have now worked out to be a "nudge bar". It's a real sod to get at the bonnet release!

'Cyclist Fenders' - i call them. Dont think the soft nudge bars do much- roping a tyre to the front stock car style would do a similar job!
