exhaust bracket front

got a 1.8 petrol freelander 97 on an r that has a y shaped bracket on the front exhaust . for some reason it keeps snapping , have now gone through three in a very short period . is this common or does anyone know what is causing it to break so often

Get extra welding on the join.

I have the SS downpipe, the bracket broke a week after I bought it. I wasnt impressed. Sent it back to Rimmers, they repaired under warranty

Is your lower engine stay worn? If thats gone your engine will be moving a lot mor ethan its supposed do, obviously straining the exhaust bracket
