Essex Offroader Virgin

HI Guys
New to all this, first time out never been off roading looking to get a Disco 2.5TD would like to turn it over the winter into a off roader and at least try it and some green lanes
any help at all of where to go and where i can watch would be a great help

The Discovery is already an offroader.

In standard guise it will cope with the vast majority of green lanes in the UK, with the addition of mud tyres it will cope with the rest!

Google for your local 4x4 club and go from there

Get a disco, fit some all terrain tyres and maybe a diff guard for the front.....then go find your nearest like-minded folk in Essex to go laning with. Not a good idea going on your own in case you get stuck. Or, check out your nearest 'pay and play' site.

You don't need to be a virgin to go green laning or off roading!!!

Go to the Green lanes section and read the Essex lanes Thread. If you would like to join some of us when we go out next I'm sure you would be welcome.

Another essential you would need is a CB radio to get the full enjoyment out of Green laning.
