I had an interesting day today.... took a trip to the gun shop to get both my rifles aligned and came back with a few new toys

Can we go sheep shooting in Wales?

Apart from that, I've done nothing :(

I hope your a better shot than me, I had a rabbit 10 yards in front of me with mixy asking to be shot, and I still missed it with a 12 bore shotgun!

I'm the worst shot in the world-but I can only improve!

Brian on the other hand had a pheasant walk out in front of him, but he couldn't shoot because he would have been overcome with guilt and had sleepless nights :(

What do you own mate? You shoot much?

I shoot on my friends farm, mainly to keep the rabbits down really. Haven't shot in a while now though. Use a .22 rimfire most of the time. Occasionly take out the 12 bores, but theres nothing like a supressed 22 with subsonic hollow points for taking down the bunnies :)

Thought about upgrading to a .22 Winchester Magnum as they reckon its got the same muzzle velocitiy at 100 yards as a standard .22 giving it a bit more poke at longer range.

Why must these things be so expensive!!

especially seeing as my sliders turned up today.... :D:D

Can't go wrong on a 22mag thats what most of have here. Good out 150yds with a scope. 100yds or less on deer in the ear from the side standing that is:D

I wouldn't say what I have to anyone unless you came bunny popping with me. Got a very rare bit of kit that I've never taken in the field - family heirloom!!

Sounds like a plan to me...

I sometimes use my mates Purdey side by side. Its a old side lever so its ultra rare. Been in the family for years, its a lovely gun to shoot but i dread to think how much its worth, several Land Rovers easily....

Been meaning to find some more places to shoot but with all the other stuff going on I just can't be bothered at the moment. Only got them out the cabinet this morning as I remembered I'd left some money in the there. May sell a few bits as I haven't used a lot since I first got my licence. Got my first browning that I don't use anymore. And a full set of chokes that haven't been used, still in the case!

Ooooh guns! really wanna add a .222 50 to my license next year after shooting a mates, had my mind set on a .17 HMR but after a bit of foxing with the .222 50 my mind is made!

Oh well its raining, think after phoning Matt it'll be a trip to the workshop, to either start striping a breaker or get some materials for a bench....

We had quite a few at over 120 yards, wasn't saying the .222 50 was gonna be purely for foxing, I do realise it is overkill lol!

He brought it out for me to have a go to see what one is like while foxing. all i can say is was interesting......

GUNS!
Can I shoot my bumper off

Got the suspension / cones sorted (will test on Sunday).
But no luck with the tank guard / tow hitch.

Taking the bumper off, first one undid fine. the second one was tight. kept spraying WD40, winding up a little and then continuing to undo then snap!

What ever the bolt goes into has become detached within the bumper. Now can not undo or tighten up.

Bloody thing, part from getting soaked I was making good progress :mad::mad:

got my sliders and checkerplate done today, but only on the passenger side....
