ARRRRHHHHHHH, dam landy broke again, was out working today and it looks like the front pads have stuck on, so guess what i'll be doinf tomoz, just hope it ant of the road for monday, or i cant work.......

Well I finished putting my interior back in and can't wait to see it in the light.

Only just come in. Shower and bed now, ready for tomorrow.

Hi Stu. It don't sound good about the brakes. I am refurbing a set of front calipers if that turns out to be the problem.

If you need any help let me know.

I am going to watch chris today but will have my phone with me.

Thanks for that had the wheels of today, seem no prob with the brakes but both wheels have 1 to 2mm of rock in them, so will order new bearings tomoz, and take you up on the offer of help.

Hope you two had a good day, once back on road will have to deff get over the from you telcon it sounded good.

Is anyone going for a day out laning soon....?

Im starting to twitch a bit, as I have not been laning for a couple of weeks, sure we can sort out a sat or sun outing soon, I fancy starting around Stansted and working back towards Braintree area, taking in Terling ford if we have time.
Any one else up for it.

Are they the lanes we did just after christmas?
I've got Sunday free, but really wanted to go to Suffolk Land Rover Club.
But they were great lanes & I'm sure you could test your winch pulling me out of the mud

Would you be interested in the driving day on Sunday?

Yes , but I didn't get to drive them, Me aux belt broke.
Would fancy slrc on sunday, but I think her indoors has other plans, if you definitely go let me know I'll try and wriggle out. Think Stu will be up for it.

If your talking about this Sunday, then I think the plan is to join Suffolk Land Rover Owners club (£25 per year + £5 joining fee), then £10 per driving day. Its a driving day on their own course.

Big Stu has been and recommended it. Photo's of the driving days look like fun and lots of people to help / advise if needed

I have no idea about your 88, but I'm going in a near road standard Disco1.

I think they have three courses depending on driver / truck ability.

Should be fun, but I would also like to set a date for some North West Essex laning - then onto Terling for a bath

Broke a headlong and smashed both front indicators again! Also wouldn't start unless it was tow started. Turned out to be a fault with the starter wiring caused by the water. Mike got it so deep it actually floated for a while. :lol:
