Geoff, when you're pulley/tensioner/whatever it was went what were the symptoms? What noise did it make? Mines started making a rotational squeal/noise when under load. Just wondered if it was that going on mine...

I have had most things go tits up at some point, might just be the tensioner. Get a socket on centre bolt and see if it moves freely, or take it off its only a couple of bolts put it in a vice, it should be tight but smooth. ( no sexual innuendo intended). could be one of the pulleys if so the bearings are dirt cheap no need to replace the whole thing, if its the damped crank shaft pulley that makes a hell of a racket. Best thing is take the aux belt off and have a listen and see if they all spin freely. should be no play in crank shaft pulley get a lever on it and give it a tug.

Anyone heard anymore about Essex off road are they opening again or has the environment agency got em.?????
Apparently they are under new management and will be opening again, give them a call he was a bit cagey when I spoke to him but said they will bo open again.
Wht happend for the EA to get involved ?

Yep I heard the diesel thing too that's why I thought it had closed. I'll give them a bell when I get a chance. Be good to have it open again I like it down there.
