Hi guys, thought I would drop in and say hi, been a while since I last commented although have been watching the thread all this time still. Just to let you guys know I kept the jap crap and am hoping that come winter I will be well enough to get out and use it again, treat,net is going well so fj vs crossed...

My 33x12.5s are on 7.5" x 15" rims at the moment, always meant to get 10's although was told 8's are better as 10's will lose the bead with a big hit...

Mine are on 15x10s and came in at about £700

Yer I'm not sure now, was going with 10's for the offset but am wondering if I'll be better with 8's and spacers.
10's do look cool though.


Reckon I'll just keep my eye out for nearly new. Nick linked me to a set of eBay (thanks bud) and I found a set of Insa's that I'll be keeing an eye on. Have to see what happens.

Willing volunteers wanted on Saturday. Disco needs some work, dodgy noises coming from drivetrain somewhere plus got a cambelt, water pump and tank guard to fit.

Sorry I'm not around as I would have liked to seen / helped with the cam belt (never done one before).

Did you get the tank guard with the tow hitch?
Rear bumper will need removing, I broke the captive nut on mine. Might be worth giving the bolts a good dose of WD for a few days.

As you may have known i went through a rough time last year etc, i was getting my Landrover 90 back on the road done up etc etc. Anyway the guy who was doing it turned out he didnt do bugger all to it and has run off with my money. The landrover currently is half in bits etc. He also used my money to buy a donar which we were using, i saw pictures and the reg etc so i have Details J5** XJN dark green discovery which we were using as parts. well no one knows where this landrover is or was etc. im hoping i can get in contact with the old owner or owner just to find out what actually happened and if he DID actually buy it or not and where is it? Last i was told its still at the guys farm awaiting collection while stripping my landrover! Anyway who knows if that is true.

All the help i can get would be great, next week i now have my landrover comiong back sader then ever and not working!!

Well I'm hoping I get it back in a week or so (guy who's lands its on is going away but has said his moved it to a secure area so won't be touched) then when it's back will see the state of it! I think it needs the engine fixing was lined up for a new engine but that's no where to be seen!! I have new seats in the garage for it i no if its had the engine left in it then it needs injectors etc fitted as there worn out and also wiring sorted! But as I say I'm none the wiser currently! Thanks for the offer guys I hope you don't mind me taking you up on it!

Having nightmare day with this now my disco 3 keeps jumpi out of D and dropping back in! Friday the 13th for sure haha

What a strange request?? Care to elaborate?? Some dodgy workbench or something???

Lol need a work top for our utility room and the crates are for the mrs to decorate and to turn in to some sort of shelving unit (don't as, I'm not lol) - So when's our next day/evening out laining had my truck over a year now and only been out in it once lol

Also Geoff, I've not forgotten those shocks I'm passing Basildon Friday evening so I will call you and come and pick them up so sorry for the delay x
