Started fitting my winch and winch bumper on saturday but it was total mare My steering guard also uses the bumper mounting points so its a case of fitting 2 things in the same place Had to modify the guard with an angle grinder but when just getting it into place i noticed it fouled the bumper somewhere else :Cry:

So it needs to come back off for some more fettling

I am also experimenting with the spare filter housing i got off Brian (cheers mate). Looking to remove the oil cooler from the oil circuit. No major improvement just something to do Should tidy up the bay a bit without the hoses there, its one less place to leak and should make it easier to change the oil filter. In the place where the pipes attach I am going to fit the senders for oil pressure and temp guages. Later on I can then fit a full width ally rad with a FMIC in front of it

Removed all my suspension gear from the Defender ready for the Disco!




+5" shocks, front dislocation cones, X-arms, X-Spring, HD turret rings and spring platforms, wide angle ball joint and +2" springs!

Seeing Dans new suspension reminded me, I have four +2" procomp shocks i took off mine, if anyone is interested.
