Blimey dan. I was looking forward to seeing the defender finished. Are you breaking the disco as well as selling the project?

If its down to the axles, I'll find a way?

I've bought a semi done disco. I've sat with mike this evening and talked it through and decided there's too much at stake where the defenders concerned so upsettingly it's going to go. I know there's going to be some mickey taking about how I never finish anything but I had to be realistic with this. My life's changed a fair bit since I started it and so therefore the future has too so I've had to think long and hard.

Put your bits in the for sale section, guy was after a warn winch earlier, and a guy pm me for my +2 shocks so I told him to look at your complete suspension for sale. Most of those bits will fly away. Was tempted by the tranny box but I really can't see me fitting It any time soon plus not got the know how.

At least you started yours. I've lost count how many times i have considered sellings the 2a and I haven't even started work on it. TBH I don't think I have the skills, time or money to do it.

Sounds like you have made the right decision. By the sounds of it you now have a disco all ready to go. Less time in the workshop and more time enjoying your hobbie.
