The only one who has come back to me is the 5 bed at £525
Or we go against everything i hold dear and go for a bunk house?

if we go with the house we need to split the cost of the rooms. i.e. a double bed room to yourself should cost more than two single beds.
I knocked this up as an idea:

The parking does not sound perfect (see my previous post) and if we go with this idea, it'll have to a first come first served basis?
I keep coming back to the bunkhouse idea?
Checked cheap travel lodges, but none local.
What are your thoughts?

I'm cool with with large bed/en suite room. If that helps money wise.

I would do either the dbl bed or two singles, happy for someone else to call one if prefered and I will have the other

You have to basically dismantal the car to get the bulb out of a Renault Megan!

No, you dont need to take the wheel off, just put it on full lock, take the little cover off and reach in, its easy to do...

Now a Volvo, thats different, the older ones (circa 2005) need to have the front bumper removed, 2 hours to do a bulb!!

Citreon Relay you have to take the front grill off and part of the bumper to get the bulb out of that!

Happy today just picked up the new lump

Got to make some room in the shed so I can strip it down and give it a rebuild

it does run though and is a good runner, but have decided to rebuild it over the winter so it doesn't have to come back out again, just need to get hold of a manual v8 box and a set of su carbs and inlet manifold

Guys,

Wales is less than a month away, I don't think there is going to be a big crowd like last year.
What do you think of this place:
The Mid Wales Bunkhouse at Woodhouse Farm, midway between Rhayader and Llanidloes, Powys, Mid Wales
Its £14 a night, looks clean and location wise its excellent. It has three byways within walking (sorry i mean driving) distance!!!

If we go with a cottage and all rooms are not booked then the room price goes up, if more are able to make it we may not have space for them.

If we go down the bunk house route then rooms can be booked by individuals so no hassles with someone having to collect / chase money.

if anyone wants to join at the last minute then they just phone and book a bed?
I don't want to take over but it seems so much easier and I'm one lazy git

Those interested in going how about a pub meet next week, maybe Wednesday?

Personally I quite like that cottage idea, as chris suggested if we have a few too many we could use blow up beds e.t.c. I could even take me trailer tent if needed

I'm sure we will have enough to fill it and if we are 1 short I don't mind paying a few extra quid...

Would prefer lodge, but see your logic. how about get a definate on numbers by weekend and see from there.Dont mind sorting out money as long as anyone going is prompt with payment.

as far as i can tell, Nick, me, jon, chris, matt all up for it. sure paul wanted to go and another couple of maybe's.

Looks good mate. Don't forget to fit a Bigger fuel tank as well.
