Essex lanes

Would like to go out Wednesday but have to see what time I'm working. Been 2 and 4am starts so far this week.

Also might build my own Sankey style trailer just to keep up!

I was thinking of going west of chelmsford and then heading up and over back towards witham taking us towards Terling way where I know the ford is still about 2-2.5ft deep. There are a few lanes that are pretty good along the way with a few testing bits for people to try if they want...

excellent job on my crossmember, looks brilliant, just in the process of painting my entire chassis with red oxide, sanded it all down and started painting it today

Bloody land rovers, gave mine a quick check over tonight and found a huge hole by the crossmember and 3 wheel bearings are sounding rather rough, i can add that to the crunchy 1st gear, leaking transfer box and slack drivetrain checklist then! Think I will be saving up and hitting the lot, rebuild the axles and boxes, get press brake to do me a cross member and possibly a roll cage and then it should be spot on, can all wait for now tho, nothing's too urgent!

By the sounds of it there's a few of us tomorrow then, anyone know how to rain dance?
