nice one. i just bought memory map and am about to down load some maps.can download up to 25000 sq kms sounds a lot but probarblly not that big an area. so do i download braintree area or wait and download some where else so we can use later.

Hopefully gonna get the snorkel finished tonight then i reckon i'll get the cb on during the day monday.

Yeah let's have a shandy before! I know the landlady and told her that we will be coming. Yeah it's an open invite, everyone is welcome (just bring ya 4x4's and ya CB, a winch and some wellies)

Winch isn't ready to fit yet but hopfully i'll have a working cb.

I'll be there, Be good to meet you all, CB is now in and working, I got my steering Guard to put on tomorrow and may be get my breathers done as well - Not got a winch yet but if mr tax man is kind to me........ please.....

Got memory map on my PDA, but not had much chance to took over that way yet.

gents i might try and meet up with you guys if i can get back in time (going to be stuck in croydon all day on a course for work) live in south ockendon so not to far away, aint done no laning for over a year but have a few on lanes on my sat nav for the area.

That's great, the more the merrier! (I've never organised anything like this before) were meeting at 7pm so probably won't leave the pub until 7.30 once we've decided the route were gonna take.

If your reading this and want to come along please feel free to join us were meeting at 7pm at the cross keys pub in White notley.

Just to remind you I only know 1 lane that's within 5 mins of the pub, I just hoping the people that turn up know some more lanes!

There is a lane just outside black notley, buy it is only open in the summer. I think they put a post up from October. I will check the entrance on my way to the pub.

If you dont make it, get your arse down the Brentwood meet. Thatchers Arms in Warley from 8

As for lanes near notley, go onto Trailwise and have a look There are 2 just by Braintree, the first is off the A131 just after where the A120 goes right and the 2nd is just after it but it looks like you are driving up someones drive but the lane is to the left.



If you make your way down to stisted afterwards and back onto the A120 there is another lane that runs next to the travelers site just after the Nursery on the LHS if you are heading back to braintree.

Just a word of caution. Don't travel the longer lane on your map alone. There is a very deep puddle down there that is easy to get stuck in.
