I have been thinking about this mild weather and why it's virtually December and I am out and about in a T Shirt and no coat, and I have come to the conclusion it's my fault.

I SORN our convertible at the end of August expecting an early winter so no enjoying the sun for the last 3 months. I also have stopped washing my cars and have not valeted any of my cars for at least 6 months.

Well this weekend I promise you I will valet the Beemer and if I have time my Skoda.

I am doing this to ensure that December will be wet and cold so we can all go out and enjoy our bloody landys. ;)

It's nothing to do with that  It is because I am now working under cover so the rain doesn't bother to come and annoy me now :D

My mate has 3 Greeway Big Macho mud tyres for sale in 31x10.5x15 if anyone is interested. They have 10-14mm tread on them, £30 each.

Located in Braintree/Colchester :)

so i joins this site after lurking for a while.
introduces myself.:blabla:

"yep - we go out week days - come along"
(thanks for the invite btw)

then...

- rear o/s bearing literally falls out . . .
- clutch slave cos im sick of bleeding the clutch every morning . . .
- serpentine belt starts squeaking in chelmsford and snaps by the time i get to stansted . . .
- buy a lightbar with lamps and loom off fleabay "ready to go" - needed rewire as monkeys had done it first time . . .
- back door hinge snaps as i got tools out for lightbar and pins me to garage door (heavy bastards with that wheel on arent they?)
- AND yesterday the rear n/s bearing does a replay of it's brother.

oh nearly forgot - whilst doing the bearing i notice the front tyres are down to about 3mm - so front to rear swap during which my new halfrauds "heavy duty 4x4 jack" starts leaking.

on a happier note - birfday in 7 days and im getting new tyres from family, his "old" jackable rock sliders from mate in cheltenham and probably socks too. :)

so . . . . . anybody go out weekdays ?

week day evenings sometimes, but could do some in new year during the day, new year is always quiet workwise then.

- new year is good as new tyres and other bits will be fitted by then and hopefully memory map will be on android.

at least it's started raining cos dry lanes are often a bit dull.

but I made that happen by getting the harley out to go pick up wheel bearings.

this day last year i was shoveling snow off the drive way

(and pulling mates out of hedgerows)

Hello to you Harry,

I take it your looking at MM on andriod and using it on your phone. I still subscribe to one thing for a job as an alfor one item if it breaks down you got no back up.....

Saying that I will be putting it on my phone as a back up when they relase it.

Welcome Harry, not another one from that side of essex. Am I the only one that lives on the POSH side of essex. lol

Note I said live on the posh side, cos I'm far from posh.

How can Harlow ever be considered posh.

My missus is working in the Harlow Branch of her bank and the class of customers she has to deal with all day is a bit lower than lower class. :D

Where as my son works for the same bank and they have sent him to Chelmsford and that is considered one of the better branches with better customers.

memory map would be nice as i currently use tomtom with poi's for start and finish of lanes from here to milford haven (000's of points) and os-lite app to double check the byway status, intertube connect for tro checking.:blabla:

sometimes i do all this before i go out so im not plotting next point on course sitting at end of a lane.

and yes i carry a backup...
os explorer / landrangers dont run on batteries:)
