cheers for the response mate!!! found a few decent byways up around there. still a bit dry at the moment but looks as though some of them are going to be qyuite challenging.

will keep an eye out for an organised event on here and hopefully be able to meet some new faces!!

has anyone done the tidal road at foulness?? have been looking on OS and it seems to be a long byway, is it worth the trek?

hey dev you can attempt the first part on foulness island but it goes round to the armys boundreys and they get quite funny about it as theyve closed the other side off

on another note theres the brentwood landrover club we meet at the thatchers arms great warley every tuesday 8 ish first tues of the month is laning and every 3rd sunday we do something either laning or offroad pits

I'm on daddy day care tomorrow until 1pm so if the pair of u wanna pop over to grease ya nipples ya welcome (I won't watch)

The whole reason we grease out nipples infront of you is so you can watch while cleaning your flange

Had a new window screen sitting in the shed for months now, but the the small chip on the landy is now turning into a big crack:doh: going to attempt to fit it today as I've been putting it off for to long wish me luck and hope the weather holds off:)

Good luck, they can be tricky buggers !

Got both rear bearings done today. Piece of **** to do but the only problem that slowed me down was some plonker who had the vehicle before me decided to use a punch or something on the hub nut instead of a socket!

Jobs are vanishing off my list now :D

Well after much swearing the the winnow screen is in, was not easy thou took plenty of gently bashing here and there and plenty of lube to get the bugger in don't want to do another one any time soon:)

I could do with a new seal on mine but I think it's going to wait now.:D
Well I'm all sorted now. Fitted 2" spacers last weekend & the ride was **** around corners.
Put in some caster correction bushes this morning & it's now sorted.
Oh ya & I told the wife I needed some longer shocks for the back at the same time. So now my cones dislocate at last.

Just need some diff guards now

Paid the £12.50 and now have 25000sq/K of OS maps on my iPhone with memory maps (that should keep me busy)

Seems pretty easy to use, just took the mrs & children for a walk and logged it.

Would I need to upgrade from my Nokia 6230

Started (only just) my list of maintenance jobs for Wales.
Just took my front diff guard off ready for eBay and will be fitting my QT one once I have cleaned and painted the pan. Decided it was about time I renewed the oil as I only ever got around to the rear diff before.
Drained the axle oil and YUK!
When I did the rear it wasn't too bad. But this stuff looks more like used engine oil. Will leave it draining overnight and in the morning I will put some nice fresh stuff in.
