Getting it all ripped apart Saturday early morning will mean any replacement parts can be got from the local motorfactors by the afternoon. If not halfords is open Sunday so it should all be ok.

I might have just sorted a forklift out to do the engine swap but if not, I'll have to rent an engine crane

Sorry I couldn't talk for long. Around 7 is always a bad time for me (kids homework, my homework

I'll have to let you know closer to, But hope to help out even it it is only for a few hours. Really interested to see the transformation and I'll learn a bit, well hopefully.

BTW the chassis looks great. Hard to believe its years older than your existing one

maybe shows the benefits of rust prevention, was this evident before it was cleaned.

The chassis had been dry stored for years by the sounds of it so it only had a little use on the road

I have a brake bleeding kit, just the cheap one with a bottle and tube but with plenty of us around it should be fine to use.

Gents have sold my Disco so have the following which youre more than welcome to:

300TDI auto box filter kit
5 unopened litres of Morris EP80W/9 Diff oil which and some opened autobox oil which I will through in.

Just after a drink for them Im over in Much Hadham which is the other side of Bishops Stortford / Harlow (SG10) so you can collect whenever.

Are you the guy who had my sunroof motor and I came and looked at your disco a few weeks ago?

Interested in the bits as I have brought another auto now and need to change the fluids.

Picked up an old sip 130 turbo mig welder for 25 nicker, it's one of the old ones with the big old square push buttons on the front not the new cheaply made ones that don't work properly, went and got a large bottle of gas and gauges gave it a good ole clean up and it works a dream

gonna make a light bar to get me old welding arm back in before I think of tackling me ole front dumb irons

we'll chuffed

I have sent some other items off at the same time which need to come back to here. And there is no space at the workshop to have the chassis sat there.
