That piccy wiv him on the bonnet is too posey. He needs to be on a 45 deg angle to make it realistic.;):p:eek:

Well, I'm not on me back if that helps :)

least the cloners know where to get the plate details for a 98 disco from now

yeah they could even take a walk down one of them street things and write a couple down!!

Then, while they're there they could look at that VIN number thing on the chassis, and then they may be able to actually do a proper job of it an all.

How does a picture of something that anyone can see anyway make it easier to clone a car?

ermmmm ... because his plate is on full view

plenty of people are getting tickets and pulls for places they have never been to

vehicles arent just cloned to sell - plenty get stolen and the plates get changed to an identical model so the scrots can use the vehicle - no vin plate numbers required there mate

true sean, very true.

that said, its still very easy to walk down a road, spot a car like what you own, and then pop the plate on it.

I mean it dnt even have to be the same car, very few coppers are gonna check every reg that goes through!

these days it'll just be a stupid or desperate scrot who doesn't at least get the right make plate - there's so many plod cars with ANPR around

advertising yer plate in a national mag just makes it easy for them - auto trader is another favorite for them

They can do what they want. We've dealt with more crap than someone cloning the numberplate and we can always prove where the vehicle has and hasn't been so really not worried about it.
The police are so used to it happening, they are very quick to make a few checks and leave you alone.

I would have probably asked for them to block the plates out, but...........Dan had no idea that this article was going to be printed, so didn't get the opportunity to ask them to do that!

That's the way I see it.

Ere whats them stains up the page ???? Who got all excited??? Hefffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffs

Oh yeah, I KNEW someone was going to spot that..

It was on the page anyway guv, I promise... And I'm not spending another £4 to get one without stains (when I'm probly going to put some more on there anyway)

There was a post on the LRO forum the other month asking for pics and a few paragraphs if you fancy seeing your landy in the mag. I sent the e-mail in, got a reply asking for more pics so sent them but never got an e-mail saying I was deffo in it.

I thouht it was was last months mag and wasn't in that so thought I hadn't made it.

Was a bit surprised when I thumbed through yesterday to see me literally sprawled over the page.
