Engine rebuild tool list.

you need 2 mics for engine rebuild 2 to 3 inch (for crank )and 3 to 4 inch or metric equivalent i use one like this,as once set to nominal bore size you can accurately and easily measure bore wear ,by gradually walking it up you can find area of greatest wear as well as ovality,it gives a much better and quicker picture of the bore, the only problem is your not likely to use it often

Thanks again guys, Like i say i may just take the plunge and buy what tools i need for it, as i would like to rebuild the bottom end of the engine that is currently inside the truck after I've swapped it for the one in my man shed at the minute....

I'm with kwakerman on the tools front, same philosophy as I use, think how many years of tinkering or spannering you've got in front of you Robbie, you're bound to need/use them again.

Yeh I suppose your correct there Aaron. I'll buy the set of 4 next year and set to start this engine rebuild. I desperately need to get a garage built on the back next to the drive but it's all money all the time lol..
