im am so fecked off.

mum went up to co op early tonight and came back to car and once again would not start. dash was showing engine disabled.

normally it would start after a while of screwing around with the key and locks, but tonight it just wasnt having it.
called recovery afet an hour of trying. they took me to me mates hows, lowered it off the lorry and guess wot...........started first time.

wtf if going on with this car. only when i go co op or pc world this happens!!!

selling it soon to make room for new car no need for the range rover no more.
just want to no whats causing this.

it could be radio signals in the area of the two places you mention messing with the security system!!!

mebbe a mobile phone mast??? try unplugging the rf reciever aerial, its under the parcel shelf support on the drivers side. you will have to unlock the car from a little closer but it should help!!

also get your battery tested, ad its connections. poor batteries and dodgy earth straps can cause all manner of freaky issues on a p38!!

bit of a mare this one, sounds like ecm fault,or picking up interference,or too bloody advanced, is the battery connections good?
sounds a bit serious for me,but i would check the easy faults, make sure your earths are good.
has it got a mercury switch fitted, could it be this?

This has happened to me. Mine was a poor battery connection in the fob. Between unlocking the door and starting the engine, if the fob battery has disconnected, even for a second, it won't fire up. It's easy to damage these connections when fob batts are changed.
