Electric seats not working

Hi there

Is there anyone out there that can help me with the following? I have a TD5 and I have fitted electric leather seats that don't appear to work. I've checked all the fuses and the brown plug which I assume is the power from the main loom and there appears to be 12V at the plug but no movement whatsoever on either of the seats (the seats I took out were manual seats). Am I missing something?
