Well I have fitted the EGR blanking plate to a facelift TD5 Discovery (2003).

I noticed that there are a few vacum pipes on the EGR unit. Do I need to blank these off? To prevent the EGR from opening and from the EGR closing the air intake.

I have taken plenty of pictures of my work so far and will put a proper instruction guide up once I have finished the work.

I am not removing the EGR as I want to be able to return the truck to standard if I get issues, with MOT or insurance.

Yes., just unplug the vacuum pipes and clog them well with someting as to not lose vacuum there... i used a rivet and ducttape(cos i have juts one pipe on 10P engine;))

Thanks guys.

I have blanked off both of the holes by using a length of motorcycle fuel pipe and a jubilee clip at the open end.

Now all I need to do is sort out my pictures and write a quick guide. Even though its a easy job.
