Following advice on this forum I recently disconnected my MAF and Airbox pressure sensor. The TD5 runs much better. Running more freely at 2000 to 3000 revs and pulling away cleanly at junctions. I guess this is due to the EGR being disabled. According to Rave the MAF is there to control the EGR. Is there any advantage to having the MAF or should I just finish the job and blank off the EGR with a kit and forget the MAF?
