he probably stuck it on on a 99p free listing weekend .... tight gits like that are just a pain in the butt, either pay for a reserve,buy it now or list at a realistic starting price otherwise all the watchers and bidders are just wasting their time.

In all seriousness if eBay do defend what's he's done it would set a precedent and they won't be getting any extra fees for adding a reserve price because everyone can do what he did in the description.

rules are rules , Yes he should of set a reserve.. But how many of you would sell a 200 tdi engine and gearbox in working order for £1

, and also the amount of scrap value on the chassis. I wouldnt.
